Dr. Bradley Lander^{MChD/BChD, M.S.}

In 2020, Dr. Lander was awarded the Thouron Award, one of the world’s most prestigious graduate scholarships, bestowed upon only a select few each year.

Dr. Lander is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and holds a faculty appointment as Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. He lectures nationally and has authored publications in peer-reviewed journals including Clinical Advances in Periodontics, the Journal of the American Dental Association, and The International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants.

His work has been recognized with awards and scholarships from the American Academy of Periodontology, the Osteology Foundation, and the Osseointegration Foundation. He actively serves on committees within the Academy of Osseointegration and contributes as a reviewer for multiple international scientific journals.

Dr. Lander is known for delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care with a focus on long-term outcomes through minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Lander enjoys football, exploring the outdoors, and quality time with his wife and family.

I had a full gum graft surgery done by Dr. Lander. The results were an incredible transformation from what my gum line previously looked like compared to now. I was very nervous throughout most of the recovery, because that is just kind of my nature, however he was very available to answer any questions or concerns that would come up for me and this helped relieve my anxiety during it greatly and I’m super appreciative of it. Like a lot of people, I’m someone who gets extremely anxious about going to the dentist, but this experience was amazing. After explaining the severity of my issue, I was referred to Dr. Lander for oral surgery. Dr. Lander walked me through my 3D X-ray and took the time to explain exactly what was going on, along with my best course of action and all of my options. He ended up needing to remove two teeth, and I honestly felt no pain at all during the procedure. After the surgery, he made sure I had a clear understanding of my aftercare and everything I needed to do to set myself up for a smooth, pain-free recovery. If you’re looking for a Periodontist in Los Angeles, especially if you get anxious about dental visits like I do, I highly recommend Dr. Lander. I just can’t say enough positive things about Dr Lander. I’m new to LA and needed a periodontist, for checkups and it turns out for a procedure, and was connected with him by our terrific dentist, Dr Joyce Truong. His checkup was very thorough and when he and Dr Truong I needed a procedure, was beyond patient before, during and afterwards with a patient who had stopped taking science in the 10th grade and asks lots of questions!  He was available by email, phone and text 24/7, and explained everything so thoroughly, including taking me through the X-rays. Turns out my partner also needs an extraction, and of course it’ll be Dr Lander. I guess that referral is one of the clearest recommendations possible!

Dr. Lander is hands down one of the best specialists I’ve ever been to. He’s incredibly skilled at what he does, but also extremely kind, patient, and really takes the time to make you feel comfortable and heard.
